What our guests are saying

Here’s what our past guests have to say about their Whakatane Hotel experience.

This is an established hotel, so all facilities are old however, it is VERY comfortable and has everything you need ie fully equipped kitchen, choice of bath or shower and complete laundry facilities. The staff are welcoming and endeavour to make your stay enjoyable. The position of the hotel is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

This old fashioned hotel oozes character. The decor is replete with Irish motifs and the furnishings are distinctly old style. The guest lounge could belong in an 18th century gentleman's club, with deep leather sofas and a picture, not of the queen but of Marilyn Monroe.
